About us
We are a Czech–German family of four – two parents and our two energetic boys. We’ve been travelling together almost since they were born, driven by a shared sense of adventure and a curiosity about the world. Since 2025, our little dog Eyja has been travelling with us too and has quickly become a full member of the team – always ready for the next adventure.
Growing up between Czech and German traditions gives our children a unique perspective and an open-minded outlook on different cultures. Education plays an important role in our travels. We believe that some of the most valuable learning happens beyond the classroom. A true understanding of places and cultures comes from being there, meeting people and experiencing it first-hand – whether high up in the mountains, along a remote coastline or in a Maasai village in the heart of Africa.
Travelling with children may seem challenging at first, but in reality it can be one of the most rewarding and memorable experiences for the whole family. Our message is simple: travelling with children of any age is absolutely possible. Through our guide, we not only show that it works, but also share inspiration along with practical tips and insights to make family travel easier and more enjoyable.
Our journeys have taken us to places we once never imagined visiting. Moments like these remind us just how diverse and beautiful the world truly is. A central part of our travels is our love of nature in all its forms. We are drawn to breathtaking landscapes and fascinated by wildlife – from exotic birds and wild predators to the vibrant life beneath the surface of the sea. These experiences give us a deep sense of calm and inspiration.
While we love adventure, we also value comfort. For us, it’s about finding the right balance between exploring the outdoors and taking time to relax. This allows us to make the most of each day and unwind in comfort in the evening.
